How long does it take?
It takes about a week for us to produce the guide videos for your project, then approximately 2-4 weeks to produce the final video once we have all of the submissions depending on the number of participants. Most projects average 4-8 weeks including the recording of individual parts. We will provide a guaranteed delivery time with all quotes.
What equipment is needed to record individual parts?
No special equipment necessary! High quality recordings can be made from a cell phone in a proper environment with the proper settings. Of course, if you want to use a condenser mic for extra depth and richness that would be nice too. It is most important to capture a good performance without background noise, regardless of the capture device. We can help with the settings to make sure everything is recording in the best possible format and we can also merge seperate audio and video sources (recording video with a phone/camera and audio with an microphone/interface) for those who desire.
Can you produce a guide track video for us?
Yes! We can produce custom guide tracks to record along to. Guide tracks can contain simple accompaniment, the melody to be sung, or a mix of both. Different guide tracks can be made for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass if desired. Anything to help the singers deliver their best performance is what we aim to provide.
Can you record accompaniment for us?
Yes! We can record your accompaniment track(s). We have a large network of instrumentalists and can provide accompaniment on piano, guitar, harp, flute, and more.
Can you create an arrangement for us?
Yes! We can produce a custom arrangement for you. You provide us with the song, number of parts and direction you are looking for and we would be excited to work on creating your very own custom arrangement.
How do we submit parts?
Typically we use WeTransfer.com, Google Drive, and/or Dropbox for file transfers. We would also be happy to use an alternate service if you have an alternate preference.
